What you can Expect
In your appointment, one of our fatherhood coaches will meet with you as a current or prospective father. The fatherhood coach has the opportunity to build relationships with you, and help you navigate parenthood through a biblical worldview.
Why is the fatherhood ministry important?
Research shows that when a child is raised in a father-absent home, he or she is affected in many ways. Children are more likely to have behavioral problems, more likely to abuse drugs and alcohol, two times more likely to suffer obesity, two times more likely to dropout of high school, and more.
Children have significantly higher odds of incarceration than those in mother-father families.
At the PRC, we stand in the gap by building the skills you will need as a father by giving you the specific, targeted tools and skills you need to be involved.
We believe our training will lead you as a father to an increased involvement in the lives of your children, and reduce the likelihood of the ill-effects of an absent father for your child.
