Think You Might Be Pregnant?
If you think you are or might be pregnant but didn’t plan to be, your first step is a free and confidential medical-quality pregnancy test from the Pregnancy Resource Center. A missed period is usually the first sign of pregnancy, but a woman’s menstrual cycle can change for many reasons. See if you are experiencing any of these other early pregnancy symptoms.
Early Pregnancy Symptoms
The Mayo Clinic lists the following as pregnancy symptoms most women experience early in their pregnancies.
- Missed period
- Tender, swollen breasts
- Nausea, with or without vomiting
- Increased urination
- Fatigue
Other Possible Signs
- Moodiness
- Bloating
- Light Spotting
- Cramping
Women experience their pregnancies differently. Some women feel every symptom from the beginning, while others don’t feel anything for months.
Confirm Your Pregnancy Test Results
Even if you have already taken a home pregnancy test, it’s essential to get those results confirmed. There are several reasons you can get a false pregnancy test result. Taking the test incorrectly, a miscarriage, certain medications, or medical conditions can all result in a false-positive pregnancy test. Most home pregnancy tests are reliable, but only a physician or other appropriate healthcare professional can confirm you are pregnant.
Take A Free and Confidential Pregnancy Test
At our center, a registered nurse oversees our pregnancy testing service. After discussing your monthly cycle, you are given a free medical-grade pregnancy test. If your periods are ordinarily regular (every 28 to 30 days), you should take the test two or three days after it should have started. If your cycle is usually irregular, waiting an entire week is best.
You will receive the results during your free consultation.
The Test Is Positive. Now What?
Once you receive a positive test result, we may recommend a limited ultrasound. There is much more to know about your pregnancy before making any decisions, and we can help you get the information you need.
