What if you could get answers to your pregnancy questions without having to travel very far?

It’s possible with the Pregnancy Resource Center’s Mobile Medical Unit. We bring our services to you because every woman deserves quality pregnancy care.

Hospitals can be intimidating, and the wait times in a doctor’s office can be unbearable. Instead, visit our Mobile Medical Unit, where you’ll be warmly greeted and treated with exceptional care. If you’re still questioning the value of our Mobile Medical Unit, here are five reasons why you should take advantage of this service.

1: Convenience and Access

We bring specialized health care directly to your neighborhood. If you struggle to get to a doctor, clinic, or hospital, we’ve made it easier for you to get the care and services you need. Our Mobile Medical Unit is a fully equipped, on-the-go pregnancy resource center.

Currently, we’re visiting two locations: Lawton Food Bank on Wednesday from 10 am to 2 pm and the Cameron University Campus on Fridays from 10 am to 3 pm.

2: Medical Professionals

Trained healthcare professionals staff our Mobile Medical Unit. You’ll receive the same care and attention you’d expect to receive at our center.

Our nurses oversee all services, so you can be confident you’re getting expert care directly from our unit. We’re fully equipped and professionally staffed.

3: Free, Confidential Services

You read that correctly. We provide all of our pregnancy services at no cost to you. We never ask about insurance or require other qualifications. Here are the free and confidential services you can receive from our Mobile Medical Unit:

  • Free and confidential medical-grade pregnancy tests administered by an RN.
  • If your test is positive, you may also receive a free and confidential limited obstetrical ultrasound. An ultrasound provides valuable information about your pregnancy, such as how far along you are, whether the pregnancy is in a safe location, and whether it is developing.
  • A consultation about your various options, including a factual, medically based explanation of abortion procedures, side effects, and potential risks.

4: Education and Referrals

Often, when a woman discovers an unexpected pregnancy, she’s not sure where to begin or who can provide support. Our Mobile Medical Unit seeks to educate and provide community referrals.

Your health is important to us. We’ll offer information about your pregnancy so you know what to expect at each stage. Plus, you receive six months of free prenatal vitamins. We’ll also provide referrals for housing, child care, medical services, and more.

5: A Listening Ear

Sometimes, you just need someone to listen. An unexpected pregnancy can cause confusion and even fear. We’re here for you. Our compassionate staff wants to provide emotional support alongside physical services.

How Can We Serve You?

We never want you to feel you are alone. We invite you to step inside our Mobile Medical Unit and receive the support and care you need.
